MafiaManiac is a Mafia-playing community forum spawned from the BrainDen Mafia-playing community. Started by GMaster479 and hosted on free IPB forums (first on IPBFree, then on Jcink).

Brief History

In January 2010, a new Mafia-dedicated Forum spawned from the BrainDen community, hosted for free by IPBFree. The forum was shutdown unexpectedly in July 2010, when all Boards on IPBFree were deleted. See IPB Fall for more information. This era is marked as Era 5.0: Lost era in the History of Mafia.

The second incarnation of MafiaManiac was started on jcink.com in July 2010. All players from the original MafiaManiac on IPB Free were invited. This forum has received a steady stream of newcomers invited from BrainDen. This era is marked as Era 5.2: MafiaManiac in the History of Mafia.

As the community grew steadily, from February 2011, it was possible to run two Mafias in parallel on MafiaManiac for the first time, which is marked as Era 6.1 Double Trouble in the History of Mafia.
