Slender: The Mafia was a game designed and hosted by TheCube based on the release of Slender: The Arrival

It began on April 24, 2013 and ended in a Baddie & Indie win in N4 (May 2).

Game Mechanics Edit

RulesEdit

  • Traps act day and night, blocking and saving, and no one can lynch them.
  • Outing is permitted, although not recommended.
  • Indy is removed from the game once the Indy has achieved his or her WinCon.
  • You can kill anyone that is blocked.
  • Saves cannot save the same person twice in a row.
  • People cannot vote for players that are trapped.
  • Spies cannot spy on dead players.
  • Goodie blocks cannot act on the same player twice in a row.
  • Vote manipulations can be used on anyone.
  • OOA (Order of Actions): RID Kill (I) > Redirect (B) > Redirect (G) > Trap (G) > Block (B) > Block (G) > Save (G) >NK (B) > NK (G) > Spy (I) > Spy (B) > Spy (G)

Tie Rules:

  • Day 1 - No Lynch
  • Day 2 and onwards - All in the tie are in a coin toss.

Baddies: The Operator and Associates: WinCon: Gain majority over Goodies, has BTSC

All of these players share one NK in the BTSC, so it is never lost.


Indy: The Detective (Jay): WinCon: Identify all of the pages, have two successful RID Kills, or be the last one standing.

  1. Jay: Chooses between RID Kill and spy every night (sends in a normal List every night, as well, but only gets the number correct)

MVP:

I originally wasn't going to award MVP to the Indy since I thought it was very simple. However, considering that Dyslexicon was a newb going into this and won. I believe that he deserves the title MVP.


Comments:

I don't know what to say. It's been so long since I did anything near hosting. Even then, I did very little. This time, I got the entire experience. I think that if I did this again, I would do it with a cohost. I did many things wrong in this game of mafia and a cohost could help check behind my back, and vise versa.

I thought that the Indy WinCon in the beginning was very simple, too simple. . . . If anyone was fit for it, it was Dyslexicon. Thankfully, random.org fullfilled my thoughts and he was on the Indy role.

I didn't have as much time as I wanted on this mafia project. I was trying to develop a completely different plot from the games and the Marble Hornets series. Sadly, the ideas I had weren't as good as the ideas for the series.

I made many mistakes in this mafia, mostly involving the NPs. I was scared of doing things like this excessively like things. If I were to do this again, I would try to give myself more time to host. This time I was hosting during school, limiting the time I had to answer questions and making a more extended storyline in the mafia.

I felt sorry for goodies like mew, curr3nt, and Yuli who were acted on excessive, making their roles nearly useless because they were blocked nearly every night or killed early by the baddies and Jay.

If there was anyone I had to thank, it would be you guys for putting up with my newbish tactics in hosting. Also, the GMaster helped me a ton with moving players to different BTSCs, so I HAVE to thank him for that because I have no clue how to do so. Laugh In addition, I feel like I know mafia better because of me hosting because I understand why people do specific actions, whether it be just luck or some greatly complicated plan. Question: Does anyone know why this turned into a musical in the beginning? Hmm That might be a great spin-off idea. Laugh I feel like I should have more to say, but I can't think of anything else.
