I know how many people don't read this, so I've decided to write about you. Yes, you. Hiding in the shadows there. I see you. I've come to understand and appreciate you and I know this is a strange way to admit it, but I would like you to say the same about me.
I know that won't happen unless I act first. You're mostly shy and quiet, but I know that when the mood strikes you, you can easily become the center of attention. I've seen you do it.
You're too critical of yourself. You don't have to judge your every flaw. Those flaws make you who you are, and that's the person that I like. You have some doubts about your writing ability, but I enjoy everything you've written that I've had the honour to read. I've seen your need for other people to like and admire you, even though you only consider a few people who are really close to you to be actual friends. I admire the way you care about those who are closest to you.
I want to be one of those people. Closer, still.
