Ye Olde Mafia III was a game designed and hosted by Prince marth85 based on own design.
It began on December 30, 2012 and ended in a Baddie win in D2 (Jan 2). Since it ended so quickly, a new game was started with different lynch rules, Ye Olde Mafia 3.5

Role Revealing: Just don't do it! Anyone revealing their own role (whether true or not) will be penalized by having their action taken for at least 1 cycle. (Not to mention the Dark Knight will have a target)
Scum Weekends: I have access to a nearby network now (I had it all along but there was a minor glitch in the network before) so scum will be only if you want it, so please let me know VIA PM if you want me to use Scum
Tie Lynch - All those involved in the tie will die
King - for those that don't know what trunc is, it means to drop off the decimals. It does not round up or down. trunc 15/4=3
Kills are NOT blocking and the Baddie NK cannot be blocked (there is no NK carrier)

Role Description[]
Baddies: Win by killing all the innocents and the independent. Or if they become the majority. (Chooses 1 player to kill every night)
- Dark Knight - A powerful knight who betrayed the King. RID kills each night but not 2 in a row. If he fails, after the second failure his role will be revealed. RID Kill may not be used on Rogue's targets for 2 nights.
- Chaos Magician - Uses his dark arts to make any player's role appear as another if that player is spied by the Sage or if the Prince were to learn his captive's role. (Does not affect coroner's ability)
- Rogue - Master theif...There's nothing he can't steal. Steals a players role ability each night but cannot steal from the same player 2 times in a row, cannot steal the ability of a team mate. He will be able to use the stolen ability the following night. Player is blocked the night of the steal.
- Recruit - New member of the group. Takes on the role of baddie that dies. Always appears as "Recruit" if checked by the Sage.
Innocents: Win by killing all the baddies and Indy
- King - May PM the host at any time during the vote to end the day early. At least {trunc N/4} votes must be placed, N=number of living players. (Please specify post in PM)
- Prince - Order's the guards to capture one player each night. That player is saved, blocked, and unlynchable while trapped. There is a 25% chance that the prince will learn the role of the one he captured. The Prince may not capture the same player again. If the King dies, the Prince becomes King and gains his ability on top of his own.
- Knight captain - Kills each night. BTSC with the Squire. Cannot die as long as the Squire is alive.
- Squire - BTSC with the Knight Captain. He admires the captain and will not allow him to be killed at night. If he saves the Knight Captain it will appear as the Cleric in the NP.
- Cleric - May save one player each night including himself (but cannot save same player 2 nights in a row)
- Sage - May investigate 1 player each night and learn their role.
- Tower Lookout - May watch a player each night and sees who targets them.
- Town Guard - May protect 1 player each night. However, if the person he protects is targeted for a kill, he dies instead. (Outed if he dies in this way)
- Bard - Uses a magical lute to cause a player to uncontrollably begin to dance, blocking their night action.
- Coroner - Will examine a body during the day, learning that player's identity.
Independent: Wins by outliving the King, Prince, and Dark Knight
- Exile - Can kill each night.

Prologue – The Dark Knight Rises (Still not Batman) |

The Dark Knight stood outside the gates of the kingdom with a small band of men he had formed after betraying the king and leaving his post in the Royal Knights. “It is time…The night is upon us to take over this kingdom and take my place as king!” The other 3 members of the group nodded in agreement as they snuck their way over the kingdom’s outer walls. The Tower Lookout caught sight of them and called for the Town Guard. The lookout informed the Guard of what he’d seen and the Guard quickly made his way to the barracks. The Guard busted through the door of the barracks and quickly found his way to the Knight Captain. “Sir Knight, I bring grave news. The Dark Knight and a band of men have been seen entering the kingdom. We must make haste and see what he is up to. I am certain he means to attack and attempt to take the throne.” The Knight Captain turned to the other knights and guards in the barracks. “Alright now men, if you did not hear just now, the Dark Knight and his men have entered the kingdom. I need every able bodied man out there looking for them. Now go!” “YES SIR!” the men in the barracks all grabbed their gear and headed out into the town in search of the Dark Knight and his men. Before long, men were returning, some severely injured. “What happened out there!?” “Their power is great, sir. Even a large group of us could not handle them well. The Dark Knight’s skill far exceeds most of our own and the Chaos Magician can cloak them, causing them to appear as no more than a normal townsperson. We must go to the castle and inform the King!” The Knight Captain turned to his squire. “Go…Tell the Royal Guard what is going on, the king must be informed of what is happening.” “Of course, m’lord. As you wish.” The squire quickly turned and headed toward the castle. Once he arrived, he could hear a commotion coming from inside and rushed in to find out what was going on. The guards that were usually posted at the door to the throne room lay dead on the floor. The squire rushed into the throne room to find out what was going on. Upon entering, he caught site of a sword wielding man heading up toward the king and prince who also had weapons drawn. The Squire finally recognized the man as an exile from the kingdom. “Sire! GUARDS!” the squire called out to anyone who could hear to come help. The Exile quickly turned to the squire, quite upset for being interrupted. He started running at the squire but suddenly music began to play and the Exile stopped in his tracks and began to dance. The Squire turned around to see the Bard behind him, using his magical powers to hold the exile back. Soon the Guard the squire had called for began to show up and the large number of them started to cramp around the area at the throne room door and disrupted the bards song, allowing the exile to break from the spell and quickly run for a window and escape before the guards could reach him. “Young squire,” The prince addressed him after things had calmed down a bit. “What brings you here at this hour?” The squire kneeled before the king and prince. “I have come bearing ill news, sire. The Dark Knight has been spotted in the kingdom. He has 3 men accompanying him. We fear he may be coming for you and the king.” The prince and king exchanged looks to one another the turned back to the squire. “I need to you go and find the Cleric, Sage and Coroner and let them know what is going on and their aide is required.” “At once, sire!” the squire turned and quickly headed into town to inform those of their requested aide. “It would appear that our presence has been noticed and it also appears that the Exile too has come.” The rogue tapped his fingers impatiently. “So it would seem…but it is of little importance, our task is simple…Take the throne and kill anyone who gets in the way.” The Dark Knight swung his blade through the air finally pointing it toward the castle. |

As the moon shone in the sky above the kingdom, shadows could be seen moving through the night. Unaware of what was coming for him, Framm walked down the town streets. As he rounded a corner a group walked up to him and before he knew what had even hit him, a knife was in his stomach. Framm collapsed to the ground, left to die, as the baddies walked away. The princes guards were on high alert as the patrolled the streets. They were all on the lookout for Brandonb. It didn't take long before one of the guards spotted him and grabbed him. “By orders of the prince, you are to be brought to the castle.” Brandon's first instinct was to try to get away but figured it best not to put up a fight and went along with the guards. FT was a little more cautious due to what was going on and hid in the shadows as he walked along the streets. Though it did not protect him from one who also lurks in the shadows. The Rogue snuck up behind FT and knocked him over the head with a board and took all of his belongings. Though the Rogue wasn't the only one watching FT, the tower guard was also watching from his spot high in the watch tower... The Exile leaped from rooftop to rooftop in search of his first kill. He really didn't care who it was, he merely wanted to let of a little steam after what had happened in the castle earlier that day...Unfortunately for Brainy, he was the first one that the Exile ran into. Brainy heard the movement on the rooftops above him and ducked into a corner. “Hmm...I am certain I saw the lad here a moment ago...” The exile held his sword in his hand as he looked around for where Brainy had hidden. Once he felt the Exile was far enough away from him, Brainy attempted to leave his hiding place and make a run for it. But as soon as he stood, he bumped a nearby bucket catching the exile's attention. The exile swung around and charged at Brainy. Since he was in a corner already there was no way to escape and the sword was plunged into his chest. The exile pulled his blade back out and wiped the blood from his sword before sheating it back into the scabbard. “Tough luck that you ran into me, eh...?” The exile climbed back onto the rooftops and moved on to lay low for the rest of the night. Framm's eyes were beginning to glaze over as death began to take hold and just as he feared that things were all over his body began to feel it's strength returning. As his eyes began to focus, he could see a white light eminating from a wooden staff held just above the wound in his stomach. “Do not move my friend...The wound is deep and it will take a moment for it to fully heal...But do not worry, you shall be well soon...” The cleric returned his concentration to the wound in Framm's stomach and after some time, it was gone. The Cleric helped Framm to his feet. Framm bowed to his savior. “Thank you, I do not know how I could ever show enough gratitude for your help.” “Worry not about such things, knowing that you are well and your kind words will suffice.” The cleric gave a bow in return and the two parted ways as the sun began to rise... |
D1 – Royal Decree |

The decree came down from the castle and the day was over. The votes upon the ending of the day were tallied and Curr3nt was the one to go. “But…Look…IAWY is tied with me…Shouldn’t he die too?” came a plea from Curr3nt but unfortunately the king’s word was absolute and there was no way around it. The Royal Guard surrounded him and lead him to the execution grounds in the center of the courtyard. The executioner walked up to Curr3nt holding his oversized axe. “Have you any final words…?” Having nothing really to say, he only shook his head. The executioner nodded and swung his mighty axe. Curr3nt held his staff in a defensive position but the wood stood no chance to stop the steel of the axe and the Sage was dead… |
Night 2 – The Prince and the Paupers |

The Prince while being escorted by his Royal Guards walked up to IAWY as he traveled the city streets. “By my authority, I hereby place you in custody. Come quietly and no harm will befall you…” IAWY didn’t like the idea of being taken in but less liked the probability of the other outcome if he tried to run or escape. He also saw it as protection from anything else as well and went along with the prince’s men. Vommack sat outside of one of the local taverns taking a quick rest before heading to turn in for the night. Just as he stood up though he felt a blow to the back of the head and blacked out. Once he came too all his valuables and equipment was gone…The Rogue had struck… EDM had a really uneasy feeling…She felt like she was being watched by someone…And she was right. As soon as she turned a corner she was face to face with one of the baddies. She turned to run but was blocked from getting away from another baddie. She pulled out a weapon to attempt to defend herself but she was outnumbered and easily overcome. It wasn’t long before there was a sword through her chest and she was on the ground as the blood flowed into the streets around her. Spoiler for Night Actions

Day 2 – A quick end |

The day came to a close with a 5 way tie. The king's ability was more powerful than anyone had imagined and thanks to the Rogue stealing it from Vommack, things were all over even before they had really started. Framm, Aura, Brandonb, Vine and Clozo were all in the run to die and per the rules, a tie lynch results in all those dying. The 5 lined up before those remaining their hands tied behind them so they were unable to defend. King Vommack, Town Guard Tony, Mew the Recruit, Rogueboon, and The Dark Nana each drew a sword and thrust into the 5 tied members. As they dropped 1 by one each dropped something that revealed their ability. Framm the Bard's magically lute fell from his sack. Prince(ss) Aura's crown fell from her hair, BB's captain's crest fell from his armor, Exiled Vine's blade still with traces of Brainy's blood dropped to the ground, and Clozo's orders as BB's squire dropped from her clothes. Upon seeing this Vomm and Tony knew that they had been tricked and turned to face the others but just as they dead, Slick Magician released a powerful lightning spell down upon them both. Their bodies convulsed wildly as the lightning shot through their bodies before the fell to the ground in the streets. The villagers who had gathered all began running away in fear as the baddies marched up to the castle to lay claim to the kingdom they had so easily brought to it's knees. Upon entering the guards were bringing InawordCoroner from the prison to be released but just as soon as they spotted the baddies, they were struck down by the Dark Knight's blade...It was all over. The baddies had made a clean sweep and there was no one left who could possibly take them down to reclaim the kingdom from their reign... |
